Waitlist privacy notice
This explains what happens to the information you give us when you request early access on reggy.app. It covers the waitlist form only — not the reggy managed platform, which has its own separate policies.

01Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is The Benjamins B.V., a company registered in the Netherlands (KVK 73699446, Johannes Vermeerstraat 63, 1071DN Amsterdam). The Benjamins B.V. operates reggy.app and decides how and why the information described here is processed.

02What we collect, and why
When you submit the waitlist form, we process:

We also process, without storing it against your identity:
- Your IP address — used only momentarily to rate-limit submissions and to run the anti-bot check. It is one-way hashed for rate-limiting and discarded within about a minute; we do not keep your raw IP address in the waitlist.
- A random visitor ID — a first-party identifier stored in your own browser to measure which version of this page you saw. It contains no personal information and is not linked to your email unless you sign up.
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share your information for advertising.
03Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)
- Consent — for storing your email address and contacting you about the beta. You give this consent by submitting the form, and you can withdraw it at any time (see Your rights), which will not affect processing done before you withdraw.
- Legitimate interests — for keeping the form secure (anti-bot, rate limiting) and for coarse, aggregate analytics that help us understand demand. We have weighed these against your rights and limited the data accordingly.
04Who else processes it
We use a small number of service providers who process this data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare — hosts the site, stores the waitlist database, and runs the anti-bot check. Cloudflare is a US company and may process data outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards (EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
- Amazon Web Services (SES), region eu-west-1 (Ireland) — used to send you the single beta-launch email, when the time comes.
05How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist details until the beta opens and for up to 12 months CONFIRM: retention window afterwards, or until you ask us to delete them — whichever comes first. After that we delete them. You can ask us to remove you at any time.
06Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or provide it in a portable form. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] — the fastest route to being removed is simply to reply and ask.
We do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.
If you believe we have mishandled your data, you can complain to your local data protection authority. In the Netherlands this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
